New Elmwood Community Center Project

West Hartford is developing a new community complex planned for 100 Mayflower Street. The project is intended to bring together the Community Center, Senior Center and a public library branch, with additional recreation, gathering and educational spaces.

Do not navigate to the proposed new building for a current class or rental. As of this review, the Town’s active Elmwood Community Center listing continues to identify 1106 New Britain Avenue. Project designs, construction milestones and opening dates are separate from current visitor operations.

For construction updates, use the official Elmwood Community Center building project page.
