Fairfield Community Center Rentals & Event Spaces

The Community Center provides several options for meetings and private or organizational events. The right space depends on your guest count, seating arrangement, food service and equipment needs.

Assembly Hall

The City’s facility description lists banquet-style capacity for just under 500 people or audience seating for approximately 600 people.

Suitable for eligible large gatherings, banquets, presentations and receptions.

Commercial Kitchen

Available as part of the center’s event facilities. Ask whether your event may use cooking equipment and what permits, staffing or catering rules apply.

Patio Areas

Wisteria-covered patio spaces and outdoor areas with views toward Civic Center Lake are described by the City.

Meeting Rooms & Suites

Smaller rooms, including spaces identified on the City’s Evergreen Room, Lakeside Suites, Patio Room and Willow Hall diagrams, may suit workshops, meetings and small gatherings.

Rental information: Phone 707-399-1997 or email rentals@fairfield.ca.gov. The City states that local nonprofit organizations with valid 501(c)(3) status receive a 25% discount on eligible facility rental fees.

Rental Costs: What Is Confirmed?

The City publishes a separate rental fee schedule. A single universal Fairfield Community Center hourly price cannot be confirmed because different rooms, event types and booking conditions may have different charges.

Possible ChargeWhat to Confirm
Room rentalRoom-specific hourly fee, minimum duration and resident/nonresident classification
Security depositAmount, payment timing and refund conditions
CleaningRequired cleaning charges, renter responsibilities and overtime penalties
EquipmentTables, chairs, stage, audiovisual equipment and other setup fees
Kitchen accessSeparate costs, food rules and approved catering requirements
Insurance / permitsRequired coverage, special-event conditions and applicable alcohol permissions

Ask staff to provide the current written rental fee schedule and a quote for the exact room and event date. Do not rely on an old activity guide or unrelated Fairfield city rental table.

How to Reserve a Room

  1. Estimate attendance. Include adults, children, event workers and vendors in the guest count.
  2. Choose the space. Review the official floor plan and room diagrams.
  3. Check availability. Open the City’s reservation system or contact the rental team.
  4. Request pricing. Ask for all mandatory fees, the deposit and any eligible nonprofit discount.
  5. Confirm event policies. Ask about setup time, kitchen use, decorations, amplified sound, insurance and cancellation deadlines.
  6. Submit required documentation. Follow the rental team’s application and payment instructions.
  7. Keep written approval. A request or inquiry alone should not be treated as a confirmed booking.

Park & Sports-Field Reservations

The Community Center is also involved in the City’s park and sports reservation process. This is a separate service from renting a room inside the building.

Picnic areasThe City states reservations can be made up to one year ahead, generally at least 10 working days before the event.
Sports fieldsThe City describes reservations up to one year ahead and in-person reservation processing at Fairfield Community Center.
PaymentCharges depend on the location and type of use; some reservations require full payment when booked.
QuestionsPark reservations: 707-428-7435. Facility rental inquiries: 707-399-1997.

The City’s newer reservation information also refers to online reservation tools. Because online and in-person procedures can differ by facility type, confirm which method applies to your chosen site.

Check sports-field rental instructions and reservation deadlines.
