Who Can Use Anthem Community Center?

Access depends on membership status and the reason for the visit. The Anthem Community Council distinguishes regular facility membership from nonresident participation in certain paid programs.

Anthem Homeowners

Eligible resident homeowners can activate facility privileges after membership verification. New homeowners should bring their closing documents to the membership appointment.

Anthem Tenants

Eligible tenants need a completed homeowner-signed application. The published tenant membership administration fee is $75, subject to the current membership policy.

Authorized Guests

Guests generally must accompany an active resident member and pay the applicable guest fee. Members are responsible for their guests.

Nonresidents

Some registered classes and activities are available at nonresident prices. This does not automatically grant unrestricted access to the fitness floor, pools or other resident facilities.

Check eligibility first: Simply living near Anthem, visiting the Anthem area or paying for a program does not necessarily make someone eligible for a regular Community Center membership.

Membership & Guest Fees

Anthem’s official Community Center information and guest membership paperwork publish the following charges.

CategoryPublished Charge
Guest age 18+$10 per day
Guest age 7–17$7 per day
Guest age 6 or youngerFree when otherwise eligible
New tenant membership administration$75
Temporary guest membership$90 per person for 3 months, according to the published guest membership form

Temporary guest memberships apply to qualifying extended stays, subject to the homeowner’s authorization and official policy. The published form says payment is prepaid, nonrefundable and nontransferable.

No general public day-pass assumption: The $7 and $10 guest charges apply under the authorized-guest policy. They do not establish walk-in access for unaccompanied members of the general public.

For resident membership activation, the Council directs visitors to schedule an appointment with Membership Services. HOA account standing and other eligibility requirements may matter.

How to Activate an Anthem Community Center Membership

  1. Confirm that the property qualifies. Check whether your Anthem home or rental is eligible for Anthem Community Council facility privileges.
  2. Identify your membership category. Homeowners, tenants and certain temporary guests have different documentation requirements.
  3. Gather the documents. New homeowners should prepare closing papers. Tenants need the completed application signed by the homeowner. Temporary guests need the applicable guest form and homeowner authorization.
  4. Contact Membership Services. Call 623-879-3013 or email membershipservices@anthemcouncil.com to arrange an appointment.
  5. Review policy and charges. Ask about membership status, household members, tenant fees, identification, renewal rules and any outstanding requirements.
  6. Complete the official activation. Submit the required documents and pay any applicable charges through the authorized process.
  7. Check registration access. Once membership is active and in good standing, verify your access before registering at the resident program rate.

Facilities & Amenities

The Community Center provides indoor recreation and outdoor facilities for different age groups and activities.

Heated Lap Pool

DayPublished Lap Pool Hours
Monday–Thursday5:00 AM–9:30 PM
Friday5:00 AM–7:30 PM
Saturday7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Sunday8:00 AM–6:30 PM

These are the published overall lap-pool hours. Swim lessons, meets, exercise programs and reservations may block regular swimming access during parts of the day. The lap pool closes to other uses during lessons.

Big Splash Water Park

Big Splash includes two water slides, an interactive play structure and a large red bucket that dumps more than 200 gallons of water approximately every four minutes.

The Council’s published 2026 primary summer schedule was:

  • May 23–August 2: Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM.
  • Sunday during that period: 10 AM–6 PM.
  • After August 2: Weekend-only operation through Labor Day, noon–5 PM, as published.
  • July 3 exception: The water park closed at 2 PM.
October 2026 visitor note: The published 2026 summer water-park season has ended. Do not assume the slides or play structure are operating simply because the Community Center or heated lap pool is open.

Diving Well

The diving well includes low and high diving boards. It generally opens only when lifeguards are on duty, unless the facility posts a specific exception. Its published main 2026 summer schedule was May 23–August 2, Monday–Saturday 10 AM–7 PM and Sunday 10 AM–6 PM.

Pool Safety & Closures

  • Children age 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult in the aquatics areas.
  • Follow posted rules and lifeguard instructions.
  • Storms may interrupt swimming and water-park operations.
  • Health-code incidents can require cleaning closures, sometimes lasting from 45 minutes to 24 hours.

Room Rentals, Birthday Parties & Events

Anthem Community Center lists rental space for meetings, birthday parties and other approved activities. The availability, rates, capacity and applicable policies depend on the particular space.

Not every rental space promoted by Anthem Community Council is inside the Community Center. The separate Anthem Civic Building at 3701 W Anthem Way also offers meeting rooms, a community room, arts-and-crafts space, game room and terrace.

Before Requesting a Rental

  • Choose the event type: birthday celebration, meeting, recreation activity or another approved gathering.
  • Estimate the number of guests and required seating.
  • Determine whether you need tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment or special setup.
  • Prepare preferred dates and alternative times.
  • Ask about membership eligibility, deposits, cancellation terms and additional charges.
  • Confirm exactly which building hosts the reserved space.

How to Arrange a Rental

  1. Call Anthem Community Center at 623-879-3011.

  4. Request the current rental application, rental price and facility rules.
  5. Complete the official approval and payment process.
  6. Keep written confirmation with the approved time and exact location.
Rental pricing: A complete current Community Center room-by-room rental rate sheet could not be reliably verified. Do not rely on a fabricated fixed price. Ask the Council for the quote applicable to your event.

Important Guest, Child & Fitness Rules

The published membership form and facility information establish several visitor rules that families should understand before arriving.

  • Guest supervision: A resident member must accompany guests under the applicable guest policy.
  • Children under 10: Unless enrolled in an ACC Community Center program, they must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children 13 and younger: An adult must accompany them in the pools and water-park areas.
  • Fitness equipment: Regular access is generally for ages 14 and up. Ages 12–13 require completion of the appropriate fitness orientation and adult supervision.
  • Pets: Pets on Council property must be leashed, and owners must clean up after them.
  • Smoking and alcohol: These are prohibited in the Community Center and Community Park under the published rules.
  • Behavior: Abusive or unsafe conduct can result in loss or suspension of privileges.
