Weather Closures and Program Changes

Snow, ice or severe weather can change building hours, outdoor park access and indoor activities. Bellevue may operate selected facilities on modified schedules.

For same-day confirmation, call 425-452-4874. If the center cannot be reached during a weather event, Bellevue Parks & Community Services lists 425-452-6885 as its general information number.

What Can You Do at Crossroads Community Center?

The center combines recreation, cultural programming and community activities. Some are free and available on a drop-in basis, while others need registration.

Indoor Gym Sports

Activities include basketball, volleyball, pickleball and other scheduled gym sessions. Check the activity calendar because gym space is shared.

Games Room

Visitors can enjoy four pool tables, two table tennis tables, air hockey, Pop-a-Shot, Giant Connect Four and a selection of tabletop games.

Art and Makerspace

Creative workshops include painting, drawing, crafts and youth/teen makerspace activities.

Community Events

Seasonal gatherings, cultural activities, family evenings and intergenerational programs support neighborhood participation.

Do You Need to Register for Drop-In Sports?

Most listed drop-in recreation sessions do not require advance registration. Admission is first-come, first-served and space is limited. That does not mean every sport is offered throughout the building’s operating hours.

For pickleball or basketball: Check the current drop-in schedule before traveling. Court availability depends on the activity, age group, scheduled classes and available space.

Children’s Activities, Parkside Pre-K and Teen Programs

Crossroads offers educational and recreational activities for preschool children, school-age children and teenagers.

Parkside Pre-K

The Parkside Pre-K program focuses on kindergarten readiness for children ages 4–5. The city describes monthly classes and weekly summer camps built around learning, social development and themed activities.

Check the child’s age eligibility, class dates and available spaces before registering. A preschool class is not automatically a flexible walk-in childcare service.

  3. Check availability. Open the city’s Crossroads Rentals page and select “Check Availability and Request Booking.”

  5. Prepare required documents. The city lists a Facility Use Request Form, Crossroads Supplemental Form and Credit Card Authorization Form.
  6. Add special-use documentation. Include the Indoor Facility Special Use Form if your event requires approval for caterers, entertainment or equipment vendors. Nonprofits should also provide proof of tax-exempt status.
  7. Email forms to the center. Submit the required forms to CCC@bellevuewa.gov.
  8. Complete payment and confirmation. Your reservation is finalized after the city receives the required documents and payment and assigns the necessary facility staff.

Can You Tour the Rooms Before Booking?

Yes. The center invites prospective renters to visit Monday–Friday between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM without an appointment to view the facility and discuss event needs.

For a weekend rental emergency, call 425-452-4874, select option 2, and leave your name and callback number. That service is intended for rental emergencies, not ordinary booking changes.
