Broomfield Community Center Hours

The City and County of Broomfield lists these regular facility hours:

DayOpeningClosing
Monday–Thursday5:00 AM10:00 PM
Friday5:00 AM8:00 PM
Saturday7:00 AM8:00 PM
Sunday8:00 AM6:00 PM
Different schedules: The competition pool, warm pool, therapy pool, fitness classes and gymnasium may have separate schedules. Holiday hours, maintenance and private events can also change facility access.

The center was closed for annual maintenance August 17–23, 2026, and reopened on August 24. That scheduled closure has already passed. Before future visits, check current alerts instead of relying on old maintenance notices.

To confirm your visit: open the City’s recreation facility hours page, check special closure announcements, then call 303-464-5500 if your visit depends on a particular amenity.

Admission Fees: Residents vs Non-Residents

The following City-published admission rates distinguish Broomfield residents from visitors who do not qualify for resident pricing.

Adults, 18–59$5.00$7.75
Seniors, 60+$4.00$6.25

Which option saves money? For a Broomfield resident adult, five visits at $5 each cost $25, while a 10-punch pass costs $45 ($4.50 per visit). If you regularly visit seven or more times per month, the $33 monthly pass may cost less than paying $5 per visit, assuming the pass covers your activities.

Monthly all-facility memberships are individual passes. Broomfield also provides household pricing rules and certain membership benefits, including selected fitness classes and child-sitting services. Punch passes have more limited benefits.

  • 10- and 20-punch passes expire two years after purchase.
  • Monthly memberships require the first two months’ payment upfront.
  • Monthly recurring payments are collected on the 15th.
  • A $10 seven-consecutive-day trial pass is advertised for eligible first-time users; it does not include The Bay Aquatic Park.
  • Children under age 4 are not included in the published youth 4–17 table; confirm applicable admission and supervision rules with the front desk.

How to Get the Broomfield Resident Rate

  1. Confirm eligibility. Check whether your home address qualifies for a Broomfield Resident Recreation ID Card.
  2. Prepare proof. Have identification and accepted residency documentation available.
  3. Visit the front desk. Resident Recreation ID Cards can be obtained at Broomfield Community Center or Paul Derda Recreation Center.
  4. Apply the correct rate. Make sure the recreation account shows resident status before purchasing a pass or booking a room.

Residents experiencing financial hardship may qualify for the City’s Reduced Rate Program. Eligibility is associated with assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, WIC or TANF, with supporting approval documents required.
