Tropics Indoor Waterpark & Bamboo Bay

Tropics Indoor Waterpark

Tropics includes a large waterslide, water basketball, water volleyball, floating play features and aquatic activities. Lap swimming follows its own schedule.

Bamboo Bay

Bamboo Bay is a tropical-themed zero-entry pool with slides, water buckets and spray features, best suited to children ages 10 and under.

Fall Waterpark Schedule: September 19–December 20, 2026

Pool planning rules: Waterpark passes are sold in person at the service desk, not in advance. Sales stop temporarily when capacity is reached. Bring your own towels. Children 12 and under need supervision by an adult age 18 or older in the community center. Unguarded Bamboo Bay periods require especially careful attention to posted rules.

Lap Swimming

Lap swimming is offered on a separate schedule, often beginning in the morning before recreational waterpark sessions. The City changes the number of available lanes during fitness classes and evening activities.

For a lap-swim visit, confirm the exact lane timetable instead of relying on the main building hours. Adult swimmers who want a quiet workout may prefer checking weekday morning availability.

Tropical Adventure Indoor Playground

The indoor playground serves children ages 10 and younger. It features tunnels, climbing structures, a jungle-style play environment and slides for active indoor play.

  • Children 10 and under must be supervised by an adult 18 or older.
  • Socks and wristbands are required.
  • All visitors, including supervising adults, must have appropriate admission.
  • Food is not allowed in the play structure.
  • Running, rough play and unsafe climbing are prohibited.
Money-saving tip: For a playground-only outing, compare the $6.25 resident or $6.75 standard playground pass with the full daily admission fee. A full facility pass is more useful if you also plan to swim or use other facilities.

For an indoor playground alternative, see our Eagan Community Center and The Blast family guide, which covers another regional play destination.
