Membership: Lexington Residents vs. Nonresidents

Lexington Community Center welcomes residents and nonresidents. The Town’s official FAQ confirms that nonresidents must pay an annual membership fee to use the center.

Lexington residents

Ask the front desk about the current resident membership card and documentation required for regular drop-in use. Program registration and special services may carry additional fees.

Nonresidents

An annual Community Center membership fee applies. Request the current amount and validity period before purchasing because the Town provides a separate membership-fee document that may be revised.

Important distinction: a Community Center membership is not automatically a pool membership, a tennis membership, or a pass for all Town recreation programs. Each facility or registered class may use its own pricing and eligibility rules.

How to Arrange Membership

  1. Contact Lexington Community Center at 781-698-4800.
  2. Explain whether you live in Lexington or another town.
  3. Ask for the current membership-card and nonresident fee schedule.
  4. Confirm what identification or proof of address is required.
  5. Complete the applicable membership process with the Town.
  6. Ask which drop-in amenities are available to your membership category.

For classes and programs, use the Town’s separate MyRec registration process rather than assuming membership itself reserves a place.
