Community Center Rentals: Auditorium, Meetings and Events

The center’s auditorium is the primary event rental area. It can be divided into smaller sections and is used for approved private functions, community meetings, weddings, celebrations, banquets and other events.

The Town’s rental policies distinguish between eligible incorporated Jupiter residents, local businesses, qualifying nonprofits and civic organizations.

Important eligibility rule: An address with a Jupiter ZIP code does not automatically make you an incorporated Town of Jupiter resident. For example, Jupiter Farms, Tequesta and certain nearby communities are outside incorporated Jupiter. Current policies should be reviewed before applying.

Published Rental Rates

Under the Town’s published rental policy, the following rates apply to two common private-event applicant categories:

Auditorium sectionJupiter residentJupiter business
One-third auditorium$80/hour$110/hour
Two-thirds auditorium$160/hour$220/hour
Full auditorium$250/hour$350/hour
Refundable security deposit$500$500

Other categories, including eligible civic groups and nonprofits, have different rates and restrictions. Setup time, cleanup time, equipment, security or additional services can affect total cost.

Booking window: The Town’s rental policy states that applications must be submitted at least 11 days before the event and no more than 365 days in advance. An application is not an approved reservation.

How to Request a Rental

  1. Open the official Community Center Rentals page.
  2. Read the current rental policies, including permitted events and applicant eligibility.
  3. Select your preferred auditorium configuration, event date and hours.
  4. Email rentals@jupiter.fl.us to ask about availability or use the official facility application process.
  5. Complete the online application using a desktop or laptop. The Town warns that the rental application software is not compatible with smartphones.
  6. Submit proof of incorporated Town of Jupiter residency or the required documents for your applicant category.
  7. Wait for the Town’s application review and approval instructions before treating the date as reserved.

Documents Typically Needed for Resident Applicants

  • Valid Florida driver’s license or state-issued ID.
  • Recent qualifying utility bill showing matching name and address.
  • Any additional application details requested by Recreation staff.
  • Payment and deposit after the Town authorizes the booking.

For newly relocated residents, the Town’s guidance allows certain housing documents, such as a formal rental agreement or mortgage statement, in place of a utility bill.

Rental availability notice: The Town states that requests for reservations between June 1 and August 7 are not approved because of Summer Camp, including weekends. Review any updated annual restrictions before planning a summer event.

For a practical comparison of auditorium rentals, activity spaces and visitor facilities, see our Matt Ross Community Center rental and amenities guide.

Parking, Accessibility and Visitor Arrival

The Jupiter Community Center has parking and ADA-accessible amenities. Use the 200 Military Trail address for navigation.

The Town specifically reserves the Community Center parking lot and bus loop for Town-related business and facility activities. Using the lot as a general meetup point for unrelated bus trips or parking is not permitted.

  • Recreation visit: Park in an authorized visitor space and check in for your activity.
  • Event rental: Ask Recreation staff about guest parking, unloading and event-specific requirements.
  • Accessibility: Contact the center before your visit if you need information about an accessible entrance, restroom, seating or specific accommodation.
  • Group arrival: Do not assume the bus loop can be used for an unrelated trip or pickup.
