Lap swimmers do not need to reserve an individual lane. Lanes are first-come, first-served, and circle swimming or sharing may be required during busy periods. Monthly passes expire at the end of the month; unused visits do not roll forward.

Recreational Swimming and Water Exercise

The published Fall 2026 recreation swim schedule included August weekends, Labor Day weekend and Saturdays through September 26. It did not establish regular recreation swim sessions in October.

Do not assume recreational swimming is available today merely because lap swimming or water exercise is operating. Each activity has a separate schedule.

Registration and Refund Rules

  • Registration is normally first-come, first-served unless the specific program says otherwise.
  • LARPD may cancel or combine activities when enrollment is too low.
  • Refund or transfer requests generally must be made at least seven days before the first class.
  • Requests made fewer than seven days before the first class generally do not qualify for a refund or transfer.
  • A $12 service charge per participant and program is ordinarily deducted from eligible refunds.
  • Some camps, trips and specialized programs can have additional rules.

For a refund involving a special circumstance, review the official policy instead of assuming every registration is treated identically.

Cresta Blanca Ballroom: Larger Celebrations

How to Book a Room at Robert Livermore Community Center

  1. Select the right room. Match your intended event and attendance to Larkspur, Palo Verde, Sycamore or Cresta Blanca Ballroom.
  2. Prepare two or three possible dates. LARPD’s form asks for preferred event dates and venue choices.
  3. Open the official rental page. Locate the Facility Rental Interest Form.
  4. Enter contact information. Provide your name, organization if applicable, phone and email.
  5. Describe the event. Identify the gathering type, estimated guests, proposed food arrangements and music requirements.
  6. Submit the inquiry. The rental team normally asks visitors to allow two business days for a reply.
  7. Review the rental application. If your inquiry qualifies, staff can email the Facility Rentals Application.
  8. Submit the signed application and required deposit. Follow the district’s instructions and wait for confirmation.
A rental inquiry is not a reservation. LARPD explicitly states that submitting its interest form does not guarantee or secure a facility or event date.

For rental questions, email facilities@larpd.org. Gym and sports rentals may require the separate sports facility booking process.

Robert Livermore Community Center Map

Allow extra time for a first visit or large public event. Confirm the event entrance, parking arrangements and accessible access when those details are important to your visit.

Who Operates Robert Livermore Community Center?

The center is run by the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD), an independent public special district.

Although it serves the Livermore community, LARPD is not the same organization as the City of Livermore or East Bay Regional Park District. The district manages recreation programs, facilities and parks within its boundaries.

LARPD’s recreation guides are normally published three times yearly: winter/spring, summer and fall. Checking the relevant seasonal guide is the best way to plan programs beyond the current session.
