Sports AdmissionResidentNonresident
Single visit$4$5
12-visit Play Pass$36$48
24-visit Play Pass$66$90
36-visit Play Pass$90$126

Cost Per Visit With a Play Pass

PassResident Per VisitNonresident Per Visit
12 visits$3.00$4.00
24 visits$2.75$3.75
36 visits$2.50$3.50
48 visits$2.25$3.25
Play Pass benefit: Bellevue’s facility guide says Play Passes are transferable and do not expire. They can be purchased at the community center front desk. Regular fitness pass holders can also participate in scheduled drop-in sports without an extra drop-in fee.

Which Pass Should You Choose?

  • Occasional visitor: Pay $4 or $5 per visit rather than buying a large pass.
  • Weekly visitor: Compare the 12-visit pass with the standard fee.
  • Regular player: The 24-, 36- or 48-visit passes offer lower per-visit costs.
  • Gym and weight-room user: Compare a monthly Fitness Center pass because it includes scheduled drop-in sports.
  • Family with children: Check the free family drop-in timetable before paying for an adult-only session.
Not the same fee: These are sports drop-in rates, not the daily fee for the separate Fitness Center weight room. Fitness equipment access requires its own pass or admission arrangement and an orientation.

Current Session Rules

  • Adult drop-in programs are generally for ages 18 and older.
  • Players check in at the front desk on the second level.
  • Check-in begins no earlier than 15 minutes before the activity starts.
  • Admission is first-come, first-served, subject to session capacity.
  • Signing in for someone else, saving a spot or reserving drop-in space in advance is not allowed.
  • Participants must follow staff instructions and the designated sport schedule.
  • Players help put away nets, poles and other equipment during the final part of the session.
Capacity matters: Each activity may have a different maximum number of players. Once the session is full, you may be unable to enter even if the building remains open. Contact the front desk if the trip is time-sensitive.

How to Join a Drop-In Gym Session

1. Select the activity.

Choose basketball, pickleball, badminton or volleyball and check the current session on the official SBCC schedule.

2. Check who can participate.

Most adult drop-in activities are for ages 18+. Family sessions have different eligibility and supervision requirements.

3. Arrive shortly before the session.

Check-in starts no more than 15 minutes before play. Allow time for parking and finding the second-level front desk.

4. Sign the required waiver.

Staff use a participant sign-in procedure. Follow the posted waiver and wristband instructions.

5. Pay or scan your pass.

Pay the applicable drop-in admission using an accepted method, or scan a valid Play Pass or eligible Fitness Center pass.

6. Follow the court assignment.

Go to the designated gym, play only during the scheduled session and help with equipment cleanup before the session ends.

First visit advice: Bring court shoes, a water bottle and your payment method. Ask whether the center provides balls, paddles, shuttlecocks or other equipment for your chosen activity.

Free Family Drop-In Sports

SBCC offers free family sports sessions on its posted schedule. These activities are designed for families with children younger than 18 to participate together.

  • At least one parent, guardian or caregiver from the same household must participate on the court.
  • Children cannot be dropped off without an accompanying participating adult.
  • Team practices are not permitted during family drop-in.
