Fox Fitness at Prisco

Prisco includes a renovated Fox Fitness facility for strength and cardiovascular training. The park district offers multi-location Fox Fitness memberships that can include Prisco, Eola and Vaughan.

Published Fox Fitness Membership Options

The following prices come from the district’s current Vaughan/Eola/Prisco membership table. The monthly EFT option requires an annual contract.

MembershipMonthly Resident / Non-Resident
Individual$36 / $43
Couple$55 / $65
Senior 62+, student or military$29 / $34
Senior couple 62+$49 / $59
Family of three$75 / $89

Published enrollment fees are $29 for individual or discounted individual passes, $49 for couple passes and $69 for family passes. Family memberships permit a maximum of two adults aged 22 or older, with additional-family-member charges where applicable.

The fitness membership does not automatically mean every pool, tennis or specialty facility is included. If you want aquatics or tennis at Vaughan Athletic Center, compare the district’s All-Inclusive pass rather than assuming a standard fitness pass covers those activities.

SilverSneakers & Renew Active

Fox Fitness at Prisco participates in SilverSneakers and Renew Active for eligible members. The district states that qualifying participants aged 65 and older may receive access without an additional fitness membership charge through the applicable program.

Contact Membership Services with your SilverSneakers or Renew Active confirmation code. Eligibility depends on your health plan and specific program.

Friendly Center Club for Older Adults

The Friendly Center Club is a longstanding social group based at Prisco. Founded in 1951, it provides a welcoming place for adults to meet, play games and participate in social activities.

How to Reserve a Room at Prisco

Prisco room reservations are not completed entirely online. The district requires submission of the rental request form in person to Guest Services, followed by the deposit and confirmation process.

  1. Select your event size. Estimate guest attendance and decide whether you need a small room, combined community rooms or a gymnasium.
  2. Choose an event date. Rental hours generally begin at 8 a.m. and finish by 9 p.m. Monday–Friday or 10 p.m. on Saturday–Sunday.
  3. Allow at least three hours. The district requires a minimum three-hour room rental. Include setup and cleanup in the reserved time.
  4. Download the reservation agreement. Complete event type, date, contact information, attendance and requested equipment.
  5. Discuss special activities. Disclose catering, amplified music, fundraising, sales, inflatables or other features listed in the application.
  6. Submit at Prisco Guest Services. The official FAQ states that room requests must be submitted in person.
  7. Pay the deposit. The published form requires a $150 refundable deposit. Staff provide online payment instructions; the form specifies a 48-hour payment window.
  8. Sign the required documents. Submit the reservation agreement, facility guidelines and any required insurance or nonprofit paperwork.
  9. Pay the remaining balance. Full rental payment is due at least 14 days before the event.
  10. Keep confirmation. Save the processed reservation, payment receipt and instructions for access, event setup and cleanup.
Rental contact: PriscoReservations@fvpd.net, 630-859-8606 or 630-966-4558. Email or call first to clarify availability and requirements, but follow the district’s required in-person submission process.

Rental Policies: Food, Alcohol, Vendors & Cancellations

Cancellation Deadline

The park district generally requires at least two weeks’ notice for a reservation change or cancellation. Changes with two weeks or less remaining may result in loss of the deposit or rental fees.

Food & Catering

  • Renters arrange their own catering, serving supplies and linens.
  • Food prepared on site by a vendor requires applicable insurance and a health permit.
  • Outside vendors may need a Certificate of Insurance naming Prisco Community Center as the certificate holder.
  • Registered district vendors may have different documentation requirements.

Alcohol

Alcohol service is not automatically included in a room reservation. The published guidelines require liability insurance and service by a licensed and accredited bartending agency when alcohol is allowed.

Decorations and Equipment

Any equipment or decorations brought on site must be delivered and removed within the reservation period. District staff will not accept outside deliveries on a renter’s behalf.

Cleaning and Deposit Refund

Renters must leave the room clean, dispose of waste properly and ensure guests leave at the required time. Deposit refunds depend on compliance with the rental agreement and absence of damage or violations.

Credit-card refunds are processed on the district’s stated weekly schedule and can take additional business days to appear. Cash deposits are returned by mailed check.

Do not promise vendors access, advertise alcohol service or schedule teardown outside your rental window until Prisco confirms the required permissions.

Birthday Parties at Prisco

Prisco offers birthday-party packages and event spaces suitable for children and families. The facility has hosted a range of recreational celebrations, with options dependent on activity, age group and staff availability.

Birthday Planning Checklist

  • Choose the child’s age range and approximate number of participants.
  • Ask which birthday packages are currently offered.
  • Confirm whether an instructor, host, equipment or room is included.
  • Ask whether food and decorations are permitted.
  • Check the minimum booking duration.
  • Confirm how much setup and cleanup time is included.
  • Compare the party package with a standard room rental.
  • Clarify required deposits, waivers and cancellation rules.

To avoid paying for a room you cannot use for your intended activity, request a written quote describing the party format and included services.

Events & Activities at Prisco

Prisco hosts seasonal events, theatre productions and programs in addition to regular classes. Upcoming calendar listings include:

McCullough Park sits next to Prisco Community Center and makes the location useful for both indoor and outdoor recreation.

  • Playground for children
  • Small picnic shelter
  • Open green space
  • Walking path connections
  • Connection to the Fox River Trail

Visitors may combine a Prisco class or gym session with a walk at the adjacent park. Outdoor shelters and park reservations have different rules from indoor room rentals, so do not assume they are included with a Prisco booking.
