Day Pass Prices: Visit Without Membership

You do not need an annual membership just to visit. Prairie Township Community Center offers daily admission to both residents and non-residents. The applicable price depends on age and verified residency status.

Children ages 0–2FreeFree
Children ages 3–11$3$4
Youth ages 12–17$6$8
Adults 18+$7$10

Important Day Pass Conditions

  • Day passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Each day pass is valid only for the day used.
  • A valid photo ID is required when purchasing a day pass.
  • Checks are not accepted for day-pass purchases.
  • Groups of 10 or more should contact the center at least 48 hours before arriving.
  • Daily entry does not guarantee that a particular pool session, class or court will be available at your preferred time.

Membership Costs: Standard vs Full

The Community Center offers Standard and Full memberships, plus separate month-to-month plans. Choosing correctly matters because the annual plans and monthly-payment arrangements are not interchangeable.

Standard Membership

Pool, Gym & Fitness

  • Fitness equipment
  • Indoor walking track
  • Gymnasium
  • Swimming pool

Classes and childcare generally cost extra under this plan.

Full Membership

Standard Benefits + More

  • All Standard membership facilities

Useful for regular fitness-class attendees and families using childcare.

Are You Eligible for Resident Pricing?

Discounted pricing is generally available to verified Prairie Township residents and qualifying JEDD/JEDZ workers or eligible household members.

  • A Galloway or Columbus mailing address alone does not establish Prairie Township residency.
  • Resident households must complete verification in person.
  • Accepted residency documents include a driver’s license, current utility bill, lease/deed, check or USPS forwarding letter, as specified by the township.
  • JEDD/JEDZ employees can establish qualifying employment using a current pay stub or employer HR letter.
  • Household memberships have rules governing shared residence and the number of eligible adults.

Review the complete official membership price schedule and conditions before enrollment.

Swimming Pool, Fitness Center & Recreation Facilities

The roughly 38,000-square-foot center combines aquatic recreation, exercise and indoor sports. This makes it useful for families, swimmers, walkers and residents seeking regular fitness access.

Indoor Pool

A warm-water swimming pool includes lap lanes, a vortex feature, climbing wall and diving board. Aquatic features may have separate operating rules and schedules.

Fitness Equipment

Treadmills, elliptical machines, selectorized strength equipment and free weights support cardiovascular and strength workouts.

Indoor Track

An indoor walking track offers an alternative to outdoor walking during colder weather or rain.

Gymnasium

A full-size gym accommodates indoor sports and scheduled recreational programming.

Fitness Studio

Group fitness classes and instructor-led exercise sessions are offered through the center’s recreation programs.

Outdoor Splash Pad

An outdoor splash pad is part of the recreational amenities. Seasonal opening dates and weather-dependent operations must be checked separately.

Before Planning a Swim

  • Confirm the pool schedule, not just building opening hours.
  • Ask whether lap swimming, family swimming or lessons are scheduled during your preferred period.
  • Check restrictions for the diving board, climbing wall and other aquatic features.
  • Bring swimwear, a towel and any required personal items.
  • Review age, supervision and aquatic safety policies before taking children.
  • Check whether your intended activity is included in day admission or requires separate registration.
For parents: A swimming lesson and a recreational swim session are different activities. Register for instruction when your child needs coaching rather than assuming drop-in pool admission includes lessons.
