Admission Prices: Day Passes & 10-Visit Cards

You do not need a long-term membership for a single visit. The Community Center sells daily admission and 10-visit punch passes, with different prices based on eligibility.

Visitor categorySingle visit10 visits
Olathe resident$10$90
Non-resident$12$110
Age 62 or older$6$50
Military$6$50

Which Option Actually Saves Money?

One visit or trying the center Buy a day pass

You pay only for that visit. A day pass is valid on the purchase date and covers amenities that are open and available to your admission category.

Occasional repeat visitor Consider 10 visits

For residents, the punch pass is $90 rather than $100 for ten separate daily visits. For non-residents, it is $110 instead of $120.

A membership or paid daily admission is required to access fitness areas, pools and gymnasiums, including for non-swimming spectators. Being in the building does not automatically grant access to all activity areas.

Important Age and Entry Rules

  • Children age 3 and older who are not included in a valid membership must have a paid admission pass.
  • Children must be at least 10 years old to enter the center without an accompanying adult.
  • Unaccompanied visitors ages 10–17 need a parent/guardian-signed waiver; complete the form at the center with a parent or legal guardian.
  • Children age 14 or younger are not permitted to use fitness equipment.
  • Registering and paying for a recreation program does not automatically include access to the pool, gym or other areas outside that program.

Membership Prices for Individuals, Families & Seniors

Olathe offers monthly auto-renewal, prepaid terms and annual plans. The published membership structure has no enrollment fee or long-term contract, but review the cancellation and payment rules before selecting an auto-renewing option.

What’s included? The center lists fitness-floor access, eligible group exercise classes, open gym and pool access among membership benefits. The current membership page also describes seasonal outdoor-pool Splash Pass benefits; Olathe has announced changes beginning January 1, 2027, so do not assume the same outdoor-pool benefit will continue unchanged.

Indoor Pool: Open Swim, Slides, Lazy River & Lap Swimming

The indoor aquatic area is one of the main reasons families choose Olathe Community Center. It offers multiple water activities, but each feature may operate at different times.

Leisure Pool & Zero-Depth Entry

A family-friendly swimming area, useful for recreational swimming and younger visitors with appropriate adult supervision.

Water Slides & Rock Wall

Scheduled aquatic features for eligible swimmers. Children must be at least 48 inches tall to use the indoor pool slides.

River Walk / Lazy River

River Walk offers low-impact exercise against a current. Intended for ages 16+, or ages 10–15 when accompanied by an adult age 18+.

Lap Swimming

Four lap lanes are listed for scheduled swimming workouts, with training aids such as kickboards available. Lap lane availability changes during programming.

Pool Visit Checklist

  • Check whether you need open swim, lap swim, River Walk, slides or a particular aquatic activity.
  • Review the pool schedule for that day, including school-break and holiday variations.
  • Bring proper swimwear, a towel and a change of clothing.
  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear an approved swim diaper.
  • Only approved flotation equipment may be used; life jackets are not allowed on slides or the rock wall.
  • Follow lifeguard instructions, child-supervision rules and feature-specific height requirements.
Planning for children? A pool admission pass does not mean the slides or rock wall will be operating throughout your visit. Check those feature times individually.

Map destination: Olathe Community Center, 1205 E. Kansas City Rd., Olathe, KS 66061.

Nearby Landmark: Stagecoach Park

The community center event rooms overlook Stagecoach Park. For visitors meeting a group or attending a community function, this is a useful nearby reference point. The park and the indoor recreation center have different permitted activities and schedules.

Before You Go: Avoid These Common Problems

  1. Checking only the main hours: The pool, gym courts, slides and fitness classes may close or be scheduled differently.
  2. Forgetting admission for spectators: Non-swimmers and observers entering restricted recreation areas generally need the applicable admission.
  3. Using the wrong child age rule: Unaccompanied children must be at least 10; children age 14 and under may not use fitness equipment.
  4. Assuming membership covers a private party: Birthday packages and meeting spaces have separate prices and booking requirements.
  5. Budgeting only the rental room rate: Setup time, audiovisual equipment, after-hours use and security can affect the final total.
  6. Assuming outdoor pool access will stay unchanged: Membership Splash Pass benefits are scheduled to change beginning January 2027.
One-call checklist: Tell staff your visit date, preferred activity, ages of participants and whether you live in Olathe. Ask whether the area will be open, the exact admission cost and whether any waiver, membership or reservation is required.
