The Main Campus has a heated 25-yard indoor pool with swimming opportunities throughout the year. JCC aquatic programming includes:

  • Group water exercise and Aqua X classes.
  • Water fitness for people with arthritis or mobility limitations.

The JCC says two lap lanes remain open during swim classes, subject to the current facility schedule. Certified lifeguards are on duty for pool activities.

Accessibility Features

The indoor aquatic facility lists a hydraulic pool lift, an elevator to the water and a wheelchair-accessible changing room. Contact staff beforehand to confirm the equipment and assistance needed for your specific visit.

How to Plan a Swim Visit

  1. Open the official Aquatics page.

  3. Check the specific pool calendar rather than just building hours.
  4. Verify membership or guest requirements.
  5. For lessons, confirm instructor availability, fees and registration.
  6. Ask about any maintenance closure or pool restrictions.

For comparisons of admission and swimming rules at municipal recreation pools, our Shakopee Community Center aquatics guide explains a separate Minnesota facility. Shakopee’s admission prices do not apply in Youngstown.
