Discounted Weekday & Nonprofit Rentals

Hampton’s February 2026 rental packet provides two useful discount categories for eligible rentals:

  • Weekday rentals: A 25% discount is offered for qualifying rentals from Monday through Friday at 4 PM.
  • Hampton-based nonprofits: A 50% weekday discount is available with appropriate 501(c)(3) documentation.

Neither discount applies to gymnasium or Gathering Area rentals.

Discount eligibility and the total rental price must be confirmed by the Township. Discounts should not be assumed to apply to bundled birthday or special-event packages.

How to Reserve a Room, Gym or Birthday Party

Facility rentals must be finalized in person. The online calendar helps visitors research availability but does not complete the reservation.

  1. Choose the space: Great Room, Activity Room, gym, dance room, adult lounge or a birthday package.
  2. Estimate attendance: Include guests, children, organizers and event vendors.
  3. Check the official rental calendar: Search for your preferred date and possible alternatives.
  4. Contact the rental coordinator: Call 412-487-7870, extension 1362.
  5. Schedule an in-person booking appointment: Meet with rental coordinator Sarah Taylor at the Community Center.
  6. Review the full cost: Include hourly or package charges, kitchen use, staffing, alcohol permit and after-hours costs where applicable.
  7. Confirm food and decorations: The center does not provide food, linens or decoration services.
  8. Finalize the agreement: Sign required documents and pay the facility rental fee when booking.
  9. Complete extra permits: An alcoholic beverage permit must be signed and paid for at least seven business days before an event involving alcohol.
  10. Save written confirmation: Verify the approved room, guest count, rental times and cleanup requirements.
Booking deadline: Reservations are accepted no earlier than one year and no later than one month before the event. The Township recommends arranging popular dates two to three months ahead.
