Renting Rooms, Sports Fields & Park Ramadas

Deer Valley Community Center lists classrooms, conference rooms, a multipurpose room, dining area and kitchen among its amenities. Whether a particular space is available for a private event must be confirmed with the City.

The City does not publish a verified Deer Valley-specific hourly price list for every indoor room on its main facility page. Rather than quoting uncertain prices, use the following procedure to obtain an accurate rental estimate.

How to Ask About an Indoor Rental

1. Choose your activityDescribe whether you need a classroom, meeting, recreation or group event space.
2. Estimate attendanceCount all guests, participants and event staff.
3. Check required amenitiesAsk about tables, chairs, kitchen access, setup, cleaning, parking and accessibility.
4. Contact the community centerCall 602-495-3735 and ask which rooms are reservable and whether your requested date is available.
5. Request the full costConfirm the hourly rate, minimum duration, deposit, equipment and staffing or permit charges.
6. Complete the city processUse the application, permit or reservation procedure staff identify. Keep the written approval and payment receipt.

Outdoor Athletic Field Rental Fees

Phoenix publishes separate hourly fees for eligible reservable athletic fields. These are general city field rates, not an indoor Community Center room-rental price.

Field reservationResidentNon-resident
Adult hourly$17$25
Youth hourly$6$10
Lighting, where applicable$5 per hour

The City uses two-hour field reservation blocks starting on even-numbered hours. Individual reservations are limited to a maximum of four hours or two reservation blocks at one time. A refund generally requires cancellation at least three days before the reservation.

Example: A two-hour adult resident field booking costs $34 before any additional lighting or applicable fees. A two-hour non-resident booking costs $50 before extras.

Outdoor ramadas and special-use park events may follow different rules or permit requirements. Contact staff before planning a large event, commercial gathering or food distribution activity.
