Community Center Card: Resident & Nonresident Fees

Auburn Hills distinguishes between a Community Center Card for qualifying residents and purchased fitness-room cards for nonresidents.

Card / AdmissionPublished Fee
Auburn Hills resident age 18+Free Community Center Card, valid 12 months
Nonresident individual fitness card, age 13+$250 for 12 months
Nonresident family fitness card$400 for 12 months; qualifying family members age 13+ receive cards
Open gym — Resident$3 per session
Open gym — Nonresident$5 per session
Registered recreation classesSeparate program-specific fees may apply

What the card covers: Auburn Hills residents with a valid Community Center Card can use the Fitness Room without an additional fitness admission charge. Nonresident purchased cards provide fitness-room access, not automatic free admission to every gym program or recreation class.

How to Get a Community Center Card

  1. Visit the Community Center front desk during regular operating hours.
  2. Ask for a resident Community Center Card or nonresident fitness card.
  3. If applying as an Auburn Hills resident, bring a valid Michigan driver’s license or state-issued ID showing an Auburn Hills address.
  4. For residents age 13–17 seeking fitness access, a parent or legal guardian must register the teen.
  5. For a nonresident card, select the individual or family option and pay the published fee.
  6. Collect the card and present it at the front desk when using the Fitness Room.
Age rule: Children age 12 and younger are not permitted in the Fitness Room. Teens age 13–17 must meet the City registration and supervision requirements.
