These hours are confirmed on the City’s current facility page and in its October 2026 public announcements. They apply to regular building access, not necessarily to every program or reserved space.

Different schedules: The gym, pool, fitness classes and private rentals have separate time windows. Sunday public closure does not necessarily mean an approved private event cannot take place.

The City lists a fitness room for people age 12 and older, with cardio and exercise equipment. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for fitness activities.

Before arriving: Ask whether equipment is supplied, if beginners are welcome, whether pre-registration is needed, and which admission fee applies.

Important Rental Payment & Staffing Rules

The City’s published rental policy flyer describes the following terms. Confirm whether they remain in effect in the current agreement.

  • A signed contract and deposit equal to 50% of nonrefundable rental fees secure a date.
  • The remaining rental balance is due two months before the event.
  • A separate refundable damage deposit may be due one month before the event.
  • After-hours events generally require at least two on-site staff members.
  • Events exceeding 150 guests require a third staff member under the published policy.
  • The historical flyer lists staff at $30 per hour per person; confirm current rates.
  • Food must come from a licensed caterer or restaurant under the listed catering rules.
  • Professional caterers using the kitchen need relevant health permits and proof of insurance.

City-provided event tables and chairs may be included with some rental arrangements, while other furniture, equipment and decorating remain the renter’s responsibility.

For a checklist covering room capacity, deposits, staffing and the true cost of an event, read our community center rental planning guide.
