Do Adults Who Do Not Swim Pay?

Yes. The Community Center states that all visitors must pay admission, including adults supervising children without entering the water.

Members do not pay a separate daily admission fee for covered waterpark access.

Can You Leave and Return?

Ask the front desk about current re-entry and wristband rules before leaving the facility. Do not assume ordinary admission includes unlimited same-day re-entry.

What About Babies?

The published youth admission category starts at age one. Ask the service desk about current admission and swim-diaper rules for children younger than one year.

Is a Membership or 10-Visit Pass Better?

Families who swim regularly should compare a daily admission ticket with a 10-visit coupon book or membership.

2026 Coupon Book Prices

10-Visit BookRegular PriceResident Price
Adult$130.50$99.00
Youth / Senior$117.00$87.75
Indoor Playground$60.75$56.25

An adult nonresident using ten regular daily tickets would spend $145. The adult coupon book costs $130.50, a savings of $14.50.

The City’s annual and seasonal memberships include waterpark access, and members receive special Saturday waterpark windows.

For households using the waterpark every week, a family membership may offer better value than repeated individual daily passes. Compare membership prices and eligibility before buying.

Tropics vs. Bamboo Bay: Which Pool Should You Choose?

Tropics Indoor Waterpark

Best for: older children, teenagers and families interested in more active waterpark recreation.

  • Large water slide
  • Water basketball
  • Water volleyball
  • Floating water-play creatures
  • Water walking activities
  • Lap-swimming opportunities on a separate schedule

Bamboo Bay

Best for: younger children, especially ages ten and under.

  • Zero-depth pool entry
  • Small water slides
  • Interactive spray features
  • Water buckets and play structures
  • Tropical-themed shallow-water activities
  • Family and young-child recreation

Which Pool Is Better for Toddlers?

Bamboo Bay is the more practical starting point because it features zero-depth access and is designed with younger children in mind.

However, toddlers still require close adult supervision. The City’s posted safety policies must be followed regardless of water depth.

Are Both Waterparks Open Every Day?

No. In the current fall schedule, Tropics has regular public evening availability on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while Bamboo Bay offers Tuesday and Thursday periods. Both operate on the weekend according to separate member/public windows.

Lap Swimming: Fall 2026 Hours and Lanes

Lap swimming takes place in the Tropics pool area, but recreational waterpark hours should not be used to determine lap-lane availability.
